Over the years I have made two photography trips up to San Francisco. It is one of my favorite landscapes to photograph since it is so iconic and timeless. It is sad that the locations I have captured photos at in the past are no longer accessible to the public. The photo above is a long exposure of the Golden Gate Bridge, I believe it was a 5 minute exposure but once I find the original file I will update this post with my exact settings.
I used a Canon 5D Mark 3 with a good solid tripod and a remote shutter to capture the image. I was shooting for about an hour with different lighting before this image was created.
On my next trip to San Francisco, I photographed the bay bridge. This was a very tricky photo location to get to but the results were amazing.
