In November of 2017, I had the opportunity to travel to Japan for a few days of business meetings and a few days of sightseeing. Of course, I was not going to travel without my camera so I packed my trusty Lowepro bag and off I went.
Kyoto was the first location I visited during the sightseeing portion of my trip. WOW, the color in the fall highlighted the architecture in such an amazing way, it was breathtaking.
I traveled with two different camera bags so I could pack a day back with the 3 lenses and one camera body I needed for that day since there was a lot of walking ahead. I also carried my tripod with me. Some of these locations no longer allow tripods to be used since people do not know how to follow the rules and only use them in select areas.
I also visited the golden temple ( Kinkaku-ji ) on this one day adventure. It was a long wait to enter around 40 minutes and it was very busy once inside but it was worth it to see the temple.
Someday soon I hope to go back and bring my wife, Jessica so she can enjoy the views first hand.
